Tools, parts and office supplies will be among items for sale Friday and Saturday at a first-ever hangar sale to benefit Pearson Field Education Center, 201A East Reserve St.

The sale will make room for two donated airplanes that will help students learn about flight mechanics and plane building.

Proceeds will go to Pearson Field Education Center, a program of the nonprofit Fort Vancouver National Trust.

Pilots who rent hangars on the field are also invited to participate. “Many people store non-aviation-related things in their hangars, alongside their airplanes,” said Garrett Schmidt, Pearson Field education director.

The sale is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
