Two days set for Bonneville pool sturgeon retention

Washington and Oregon have set two days for sturgeon retention in the Bonneville pool of the Columbia River.

Anglers will be able to keep a sturgeon between 38 and 54 inches on June 18 and July 1. The is a 1.8 mile-sanctuary downstream of The Dalles Dam.

The pool has a catch allocation of 325 sturgeon. Anglers kept 157 sturgeon the winter portion of the season, leaving 168 for the summer portion.
