The father of Jordan Davis, a 17-year-old who was shot and killed after a confrontation at a convenience store, will speak Sunday during a screening of the film “3 1/2 Minutes, 10 Bullets.”

The documentary looks at the teenager’s life, death and the trial in which shooter Michael Dunn was sentenced to life in prison plus 90 years. Davis’ father, Ron Davis, started the Jordan Davis Foundation, which provides enrichment opportunities for youth.

The talk begins 5 p.m. Sunday in Clark College’s Gaiser Hall, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver.

The event’s sponsors include local attorneys, law offices, bar associations, the Washington State Minority and Justice Commission, the Vancouver branch of the NAACP, YWCA Clark County and Citizens for Children’s Rights.

Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP through Stacy Smith at stacy.smith@courts.wa.gov.
