• NatureScaping of Southwest Washington has garden work parties on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Volunteers are needed to help weed, rake, prune, plant and shovel as their schedules and physical abilities allow.
• North Community Food Bank is looking for help with stocking shelves, sorting and inspecting food donations, preparing food boxes, unloading deliveries, shredding documents and helping with special projects.
• Parks Foundation of Clark County seeks help with data entry, record keeping, receipting and mailings.
• Trauma Intervention Program seeks volunteers to respond to calls from police, fire, medical and hospital personnel, and to provide emotional and practical support to families, friends, witnesses and victims following a tragedy. Training is provided.
• Washington Elementary Family Community Resource Center, in the Rose Village neighborhood, needs Walking School Bus volunteers to help students get to school safely and on time. The time commitment can be as little as one hour per week.
Clark College Career Services is looking for professionals with experience writing r?sum?s to assist students a its drop-in R?sum? and LinkedIn Clinic. Shifts are 9:45 to 11 a.m, and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 26 at the Penguin Union Building at Clark College. Students bring their r?sum?s for a personalized critique, develop a new r?sum?, or create and modify their LinkedIn profile.

The Nutter Foundation is recruiting volunteers for Dozer Day 2016, May 21-22 at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Ridgefield.
Dozer Day is an annual event that allows kids to operate dump trucks, bulldozers and excavators with experienced operators. It includes music, food, giveaways and activities. Proceeds benefit local organizations.
Volunteers are needed to operate equipment, help children on and off machinery, monitor lines and assist with check in. The minimum age is 14. Volunteers receive free admission, snacks and beverages.
