Felida, Lake Shore rank high on state livability list

Felida and Lake Shore — According to Zippia.com, if you live in either the Felida or Lake Shore areas, you have a lot to smile about.

The website, which focuses on aiding people in finding their ideal career paths, compiled a list of the 10 happiest places in Washington state, and Felida and Lake Shore ranked No. 5 and 6, respectively.

Zippia based its happiness rating on seven criteria, including an educated population, low unemployment rate, short commute to work, low cost of living, having a family, owning a home and a low poverty rate. It noted that 84.9 percent of residents in Felida own their own home, and 62.6 percent of its residents are married.

In Lake Shore, 85.4 percent of residents own their home, and 63.2 percent of its residents are married.
