Week 4 prep football player of the week nominees

Weekly vote, sponsored by Athletes Corner, concludes 8 p.m. Tuesday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 26.

Players may win the honor once in a month and cannot be nominated in consecutive weeks.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

JORDAN DEL MORAL, CAMAS: Del Moral rushed for 113 yards on 15 carries and three touchdowns in a win over Evergreen.

DUSTIN NETTLES, EVERGREEN: Nettles caught 14 passes for 143 yards and had an interception against Camas.

CARSON SLAGLE, PRAIRIE: Slagle rushed for 130 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns in a win over Fort Vancouver.

GUNNER TALKINGTON, BATTLE GROUND: Talkington completed 31 of 39 passes for 503 yards and 6 TDs and has 51 yards rushing in a win over Mountain View.

JALEN WILLIAMS, RIDGEFIELD: Williams rushed 196 yards and 17 carries and five touchdowns in a win over Woodland.
