Colleen Woods of Heritage girls swimming is the Week 2 fall sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner.
Woods earned 28 percent of the 1,614 votes cast to win the honor.
Last week, Woods was the overall point scorer at the Sprint Pentathlon and qualified for state in the 100 fly.
The other nominees were Yacine Guermali of Camas cross country (26 percent), Andrew Kabacy of Skyview tennis (17 percent), Taryn Ries of Ridgefield girls soccer (15 percent) and Maddie Stimmel of La Center volleyball (14 percent).
Nominees are posted each Monday at 360preps.com and voting continues until 8 p.m. Thursday.
Athletes may win the honor once during the regular season and cannot be nominated in consecutive weeks.
