Man caught on video burglarizing store in B.G.; police ask for help

Video shows man rifling through business' office

The Battle Ground Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a man caught on video burglarizing an antiques and crafts store in Battle Ground on Sept. 19.

The department said the man broke into Urban Basics & Co. store, on 209 E. Main St., at 6:40 a.m. In a video the department shared, he can be seen rifling around what appears to be an office space at the business.

The police asked anyone who can help identify the man to call 311 and request to speak to a Battle Ground police officer, or leave an anonymous tip at the city’s online tip line at http://cityofbg.org/tips. The video is embedded below.

On Saturday, September 19 at 6:40 am, the white male suspect pictured in the attached video burglarized the Urban Basics store located in the 200 block of East Main St in Battle Ground. The Battle Ground Police Department is seeking the public’s help. If you can identify this suspect, please call 3-1-1 or leave an anonymous tip at http://cityofbg.org/tips.
