Clark County volunteer earns award for child safety work

Clark County — Marilyn Erickson earned the Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission for her work in child passenger safety in Clark and King counties. She was announced as a winner during Child Passenger Safety Week, Sept. 13-19. Child Passenger Safety Week was a week “dedicated to teaching parents and caregivers about the importance of correct installation and use of car seats, booster seats and seat belts,” according to a Washington Traffic Safety Commission news release.
