Maintenance work on a stretch of state Highway 500 in east Clark County will force detours on Saturday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The work will affect Highway 500 where it meets with Northeast 242nd Avenue north of Camas. Eastbound traffic on the highway will be diverted onto Northeast 39th Street and follow flaggers along the detour route. Westbound Highway 500 traffic will shift onto Northeast 28th Street to Northeast Ingle Road.
The detours will be in place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, according to WSDOT. Crews plan to grind and repave several sections of worn and damaged pavement on the highway.
