Bagley Downs — ReTails Thrift Store is celebrating it’s one-year anniversary this month, and since opening, the store operated by the Humane Society for Southwest Washington has adopted nearly 100 adult cats.

The cats live in the store full-time until they are adopted out by the public.

“Our shoppers love seeing our cats at the store,” Pete Glover, store manager, said in a release from the Humane Society. “They’ve come to expect a furry friend as part of their shopping experience.”

ReTails is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and all proceeds from sales go to the Humane Society.
