Camas — Camas students are teaming up with high school football coach Dale Rule to host a day of healthy activities.

The Camas Student Health Advisory Council is hosting its first Camas 4 Kids Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Doc Harris Stadium, 1125 N.E. 22nd Ave.

The health fair will include pediatric health screenings, immunizations, health and nutrition information, exercise demonstrations, “Ask the expert” and activities for kids.

The health fair is being held during Rule’s fifth annual EveryoneWalk 24-Hour Walk to Fight Obesity.

Rule, who has lost more than 100 pounds by walking, will walk on the Doc Harris track for 24 hours, beginning 10 a.m. Saturday. Visitors are invited to walk with Rule as he works toward his goal of 190,000 steps, which is about 100 miles.

Rule is the founder of the nonprofit EveryoneWalk. For more information, visit www.everyonewalk.com.
