Week 2 prep football player of the week nominees

Voting sponsored by Athletes Corner continues through 8 p.m. Tuesday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 12.

Players may win the honor once in a month and cannot be nominated in consecutive weeks.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

LIAM FITZGERALD, CAMAS: Fitzgerald passed for 347 yards passing and five touchdowns in a win over Federal Way.

BLAKE INGRAM, SKYVIEW: Ingram rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Woodinville

KEDRICK JOHNSON, HOCKINSON: Johnson had five catches for 91 yards and one touchdown, ran for a touchdown and returned a fumble for a score in a win over Prairie.

GAVIN LEE, HERITAGE: Lee passed for 168 yards and ran for 88 and a touchdown in a win over Bay.

ANTHONY RAMIREZ, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Ramirez rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Juanita.
