Non-league football: Mountain View 57, Juanita 28

The Mountain View Thunder rushed for 587 yards in a road victory over Juanita.

Anthony Ramirez had three first-half touchdowns as the Thunder jumped out to a 33-14 lead. Preston Jones had 197 yards and two touchdowns.

The Thunder improved to 2-0 for the first time since 2000.

Mountain View opened the season with a 31-20 victory over Auburn at Husky Stadium in the Emerald City Kickoff Classic. The Thunder will try to make it 3-0 next week when they face Union in a Class 4A Greater St. Helens League opener for both schools.
