Senior slotback Preston Danberg led King’s Way Christian to a non-league victory over Chief Sealth by scoring four touchdowns in the first 16 minutes of the game.
The Knights dominated from the outset, at one point leading 43-7 in the third quarter before emptying their bench and allowing Chief Sealth almost back into the game, scoring 28 second half points, but by then the game was decided.
King’s Way outrushed the Seahawks 279 to 70 with four different backs running for more than 50 yards. The Knights also had 30 first downs to Chief Sealth’s 9 to illustrate what a dominant performance it was.
With the victory, King’s Way Christian moves to 2-0 on the season.
