Empower Up, which recycles and refurbishes donated electronics, is holding a big blowout sale next weekend because the store is moving to a new location.

The nonprofit organization is leaving its storefront at 3206 N.E. 52nd St. in the West Minnehaha neighborhood and moving to 5000 E. Fourth Plain Blvd. in the Bagley Downs neighborhood, next to ReTails Thrift Store, said Bruno George, executive director.

On Sept. 11 and 12, whatever hasn’t been moved to the new location will be for sale at a steep discount for cash only. The merchandise will be sold as-is, and reasonable offers will be accepted. At the end of Saturday, anything leftover will be recycled.

The store on Northeast 52nd Street is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
