Carnival raises money for dementia support group

Elite Care hosted carnival to honor seniors and raise money for dementia group

East Vancouver — At the first There’s Always Hope Carnival, Elite Care raised $550 for Hope, a Vancouver-based dementia support group. The carnival was Aug. 21, which was National Senior Citizens Day, and honored the local elderly community and their families. The day featured food, face painting, balloon animals, the Wienermobile and tips for families with aging relatives. It the was first year Elite Care hosted the carnival, with plans of bringing it back and making it an annual event.
