The Clark College women’s soccer team fell one point short of the top spot in the NWAC South standings after a 1-1 draw against Lane on Saturday.

Clark (12-1-4, 9-0-3, 30 points) needed a win in the regular-season finale to claim the division and receive a playoff bye.

The draw gave the No. 1 seed to Lane (13-4-2, 10-1-1, 31 points).

Maddie Reynolds scored for Clark in the eighth minute off an assist from Ellie Quercia.

Lane tied the match in the 49th minute.

Clark will host Treasure Valley on Wednesday in the first round of the NWAC playoffs.
