Students bake bread for shelters

Battle Ground — A representative of King Arthur Flour brought flour and yeast to Captain Strong Primary and showed fourth-graders how to bake bread. For their homework, students had to bake two loves of bread each while at home over a recent weekend, and bring the bread into school. The bread will be donated to organizations that serve those in need: Open House Ministries, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Living Hope Church.
