Condo residents raise money for neighboring mental health center

East Vancouver — When residents of the Renaissance Condos heard a new mental health facility was moving in right by their development, they were a bit curious. Staff at the Children’s Center invited residents to the building so they could explain what exactly they do, bringing along employees from all different departments to discuss how they treat children with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation or trauma from abuse. The residents were so impressed by their work, they raised $760 for the center, and presented a check to Matthew Butte, development director of the center.
