All lanes of Interstate 5 were blocked this evening after a tractor-trailer lost its load, reportedly sending glass onto the freeway.

According to an email sent at about 8 p.m. from the Washington State Department of Transportation, the debris was blocking all northbound lanes of the freeway, and traffic was being diverted at the exit for 134th street.

There were reports of traffic problems in the area on both I-5 and Interstate 205, according to radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. A vehicle crash on I-205 northbound blocked the left lane near 134th Street, according to WSDOT.

Both problems were resolved by about 9:30 p.m.
