Volunteers are needed beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at Daybreak Park to do stream restoration in the East Fork of the Lewis River watershed.

Members of the Salmon Creek Flyfishers, Friends of the East Fork and Boy Scouts will be planting trees and adding in-stream structures to two side channels, accord Dennis Potter, a Flyfishers member.

Volunteers are urged to bring gloves, waders, water and a shovel. The work effort will last until about 1 p.m.
