Week 7 prep football player of the week: Jordan Del Moral, Camas

Jordan Del Moral of Camas was voted The Columbian’s high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 17.

Del Moral collected 52 percent of the 4,183 votes cast by fans to beat out Max Randle of Battle Ground, who had 28 percent.

Del Moral rushed for 274 yards, 230 by halftime, and had 3 TDs in a win over Union.

The other nominees were Cameron Loos of Hockinson, Liam Nabors of King’s Way Christian and Tristan Thomas of Woodland.

Nominees and the online ballot are posted at www.360preps.com each Sunday and voting continues until 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Players may be elected player of the week once per month, and no player can be nominated for the honor in consecutive weeks.
