Interested Camas residents are invited to attend a state of the community address and city council candidate forum tonight. There will be presentations by the City of Camas, Port of Camas-Washougal and the Camas School District, along with a panel of city council candidates.

The race for council position No. 1 is the only contested race in Camas; Shawn High is challenging incumbent Timothy Hazen for his seat on the council.

Camas High School’s youth advisory council is hosting the event, which starts at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s theater at 26900 S.E. 15th St.
