Registration is open for a women’s boating safety entitled Confidence in Boating scheduled Nov. 14 in Vancouver.
Taught by women of U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Vancouver Flotilla 78, the class will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clark Regional Wastewater District, 8000 N.E. 52nd Court.
The cost is $20.
Among the topics will be using the radio to call for help, anchoring, retrieving an overboard passenger and handling a boating emergency.
Coffee, lunch and snacks will be provided.
