Nan Henriksen to be honored as First Citizen

Community leader Nan Henriksen will be honored Tuesday during the 75th annual Clark County First Citizen award ceremony. From 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. Sixth St., there will be a social time with beverages and hors d’oeuvres, along with a formal award ceremony.

Henriksen, a lifetime Camas resident, businesswoman and former Camas mayor, was selected by a volunteer committee. Most recently, Henriksen helped create the home-rule charter that reshaped Clark County government As part of her award, Henriksen will get $1,000 to donate to her charity of choice.
