The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In June, the secretary of health ordered Baozhu Wu to cease and desist from the practice of massage, and to pay a $1,000 fine. Wu massaged a client despite having no license.

In June, the secretary of health ordered Xiuyu Zhan to cease and desist from the practice of massage, and to pay a $1,000 fine. Zhan massaged a client despite having no license.

In June, the secretary of health ordered Haibin Yu to cease and desist from the practice of massage, and to pay a $1,000 fine. Yu operates a business that advertises massage and where unlicensed employees provide massages.

In July, the secretary of health ordered Jiu Guo to cease and desist from the practice of massage, and to pay a $1,000 fine. Guo massaged a client despite having no license.
