Lake Shore — Beautifully folded paper to resemble Yoda, students at Lake Shore Elementary School did on Oct. 2.

At a visit set up by the school’s PTA, author and illustrator Tom Angleberger spoke to students about his work, including his book “The Strange Case of Origami Yoda,” which follows an origami Yoda who comes to life.

He also showed students how to fold their own origami Yoda dolls and talked to them about his writing process. “All it takes to be an author is to have something blank, and then use your brain to fill the blank spot,” he said in a release from the school.
