Salmon Creek — The Salmon Creek Lions Club started conducting free vision screenings at local events in April, and since then has screened more than 500 people. Of that group, 15 percent were referred for professional examination.
The group is offering free examinations through Friday at Salmon Creek Chuck’s Produce, 2302 N.E. 117th St., Vancouver.
