An Oregon woman was injured in a two-car crash in which she was thrown from her vehicle Sunday evening near Lewisville Regional Park in the Battle Ground area.

Brenda K. Tarsi, 50, of Wilsonville, Ore., was turning left onto state Highway 503 from the westbound lane of Northeast Potter Road shortly after 5 p.m. when the driver’s side of her 1996 Honda Accord was struck by a 2014 Mazda 3 that was traveling north on Highway 503, according to the Washington State Patrol. Tarsi was ejected from the Honda during the collision, state patrol said.

She was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, state patrol said. Her condition was not available Sunday.

The driver of the Mazda, Beau S. Wilcoxen, 26, of La Center, and his passenger, Alia Wilcoxen, 24, of La Center, refused medical aid, state patrol said.

Tarsi faces charges of failing to yield, driving with a suspended license, not wearing a seat belt and not having car insurance, state patrol said.
