Applicants are being sought by Dec. 11 for potential members of two Gifford Pinchot National Forest advisory committees.
The committees review and recommend projects under the Secure Rural Schools Act. The committees are to be composed of differing interests such as recreation, timber, wildlife and wilderness. Members serve four-year terms.
The projects need to improve aspects as forest infrastructure, watersheds, hazardous fuels reduction, native plants and animals or ecosystem health.
Persons interested in serving should contact Gala Miller at 360-891-5014 or galamiller@fs.fed.us for assistance in completing an application.
