Clark County — Red Cross Youth Club members from various high schools braved a rainy and windy Halloween to go door-to-door collecting money for Southwest Washington Disaster Services. Students participating in the drive were from Fort Vancouver High School, Union High School, Vancouver School of Arts & Academics, Columbia River High School, Camas High School, Mountain View High School and Skyview High School. The students raised $3,200 on Halloween, which will help fund Red Cross disaster responses in local communities for victims of fire, flood and other emergencies, as well as helping to provide for temporary housing, food, clothing, counseling and other disaster recovery assistance.
