State Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center, Clark County council Chair-elect Marc Boldt, and Battle Ground City Councilor Mike Dalesandro will speak Tuesday evening about ways the county can collaborate and move forward following this fall’s local elections.
The talk, hosted by the Middle Class Alliance, will begin with a social at 5:30 p.m. at Jorge’s Margarita Factory, 14415 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. in Vancouver. The discussion will follow at 6 p.m.
Rivers is expected to talk about her approach to collaboration and compromise, while Boldt and Dalesandro, who lost the county chair race to Boldt, plan to discuss their campaigns and the future of county government, according to a news release from the Middle Class Alliance, a nonprofit organization founded by former Democratic state Rep. Tim Probst.
