A bicycle-car accident in the Salmon Creek area this morning resulted in minor injuries to the young bicyclist.
The cyclist, whose name was not released, was taken to a local hospital to be checked out after complaining of back pain, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. He was also going to be checked because he was not wearing a protective helmet, said Sgt. Duncan Hoss of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident was reported at 6:14 a.m. on Northwest 139th Street near Northwest 10th Court.
Fire District 6 also responded.
