The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.
In June, the Unlicensed Practice Program entered an agreement with Lixian Hudson that requires her to cease and desist from the practice of massage, and pay a $1,000 fine. Hudson doesn’t have a massage practitioner license, but provided massage treatment to a client.
In July, the secretary of health ordered Huaimei Li to cease and desist from the practice of massage, and to pay a $1,000 fine. Li provided massage treatment to a client without having a credential.
In July, the Mental Health Counselor Program charged mental health counselor Tess Esther Reese with unprofessional conduct and immediately suspended her credential.
