Five Corners — Employees at Centerline Solutions in Vancouver built 28 bicycles for children and delivered them to the Clark County Family YMCA. The nationwide cell tower services company worked with Wish for Wheels, a nonprofit that aims to give elementary school students from low-income families new bikes and helmets to help them live healthy lives. It was the largest charitable effort by Centerline, according to a release from the company, with 330 kids receiving bikes around the country. “Getting a new bike is a milestone in children’s lives, giving them the chance to spend more time outdoors, have more experiences with their friends and start building a lifetime of healthy habits,” Brad Appel, CEO of Wish for Wheels, said in the same release. “Every child deserves that experience, and it is rewarding that we were able to make so many kids across so many states very happy.”
