Parents sit in during school hours with children

Washougal — It was a bit more packed at Canyon Creek Middle School on Oct. 27 as the school hosted its third annual Bring Your Parent to School Day. About 70 mothers and fathers sat in with their children as they observed a typical morning of middle school. “I just love the opportunity to see her in a class environment,” Jen Haralson, who came to school with her daughter in seventh grade, said in a release from the school. “Some middle school students don’t really talk about things, so it is nice to see what she is doing on a typical day in school.”
