About 25,000 ballots came in on Election Day, according to a new count at the Clark County elections department.
That pushes turnout to 33.8 percent, or 85,180 ballots received out of 251,528 registered voters. Turnout was about 24 percent when polls closed Tuesday.
Most of the new ballots — 19,359 — were brought to drop-off sites Tuesday.
Auditor Greg Kimsey had estimated about 30,000 more ballots would be tallied today.
An updated vote count is expected later this afternoon, which could have implications for several close races in the county.
