Rylee Seekins scored two goals, the Hockinson defense got the shutout, and the Hawks advanced to the district championship girls soccer match.
Hockinson keeper Katrina Abbas had four saves as the Hawks topped Black Hills 3-0 in a Class 2A District 4 semifinal.
Seekins scored off an assist from Alivia Quitugua and then another off a feed from Kayla Sills for a 2-0 lead at the half.
Natalie Johnson scored Hockinson’s third goal, off an assist from Cameron Bielat.
Hockinson will take on 2A Greater St. Helens League champion Ridgefield for the district crown. That match is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday in Ridgefield.
Woodland 2, W.F. West 1, OT — Woodland got two goals from Judith Nunez to keep its girls soccer season alive.
Nunez scored two second-half goals in a 2-1 win over W.F. West. Assists went to Stefani Cifuentes and Cierra Daugherty.
Delainie Anderson had two saves for the Beavers.
Woodland will travel to face Tumwater on Thursday in an elimination match in the Class 2A district tournament.
Washougal 1, R.A. Long 0 — The Panthers won a loser-out match in the 2A district tournament.
The Panthers still need to win two more matches to clinch a state berth. The first one will be Thursday against Black Hills in Tumwater.
Seton Catholic 4, Elma 0 — Jorie Freitag scored two goals to lead Seton Catholic past Elma in a 1A district playoff loser-out match in Camas.
Missica Derhalli and Dani Zalutko each added a goal and an assist.
Seton Catholic will play at Montesano on Thursday in the district semifinals.
