WSU extension to offer farm tour June 25

BRUSH PRAIRIE — Burkhart’s Highland Farm in Brush Prairie next month will host a tour highlighting its practices growing organic fruits and vegetables and keeping horses.

The tour, sponsored by Washington State University’s Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services, will last from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25. Burkhart’s Highland Farm is located on 8 acres at 25628 N.E. Rawson Rd. in Brush Prairie.

Registration costs $10, and space is limited, according to the WSU extension. People can find more information and pre-register by visiting www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1592214, or calling the extension at 360-397-6060, ext. 0.
