Clark County — Many dream of racing in the Tour de France, but only a select few ever do.
For some, they can’t get on an invited team, or France is simply too far away. For others, a love of fast food stands in their way. Well, those in the latter group are in luck, as June 13 is the second Tour de Burgerville, a 48-mile ride through Clark County that stops at nine Burgerville locations in the county.
The event raises money for the Oregon and Southwest Washington chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The group raised about $725 during the inaugural tour, when five riders went for the full ride. This year, about 20 cyclists have expressed interest in joining so far.
