Battle Ground — The Battle Ground City Council honored 15 men and women who have committed to joining the armed services at a council meeting on May 18.
The men and women honored were Zhi Cong Hu, Alexander Lorphanpaibul, Josiah Brewer, Cicley Manriquez, Benjamin Millard, Seth Witherup, Laurence Rasaphangthong, Melanie Scialabba, Joseph Banuelos, Curerah Kopsho, Ian McGregor, Darian Jensen, Casey Bauer, Paul Corbin and Taylor Harper.
The council also recognized Seth Piper, Dirk Haas, David Butler, Trey Bardonski and Kelsey Campanelli, who also enlisted, but couldn’t attend the meeting.
