Boomerang is looking for a retail and coffee house assistant for each of its two locations. Volunteers are needed to greet customers, stock inventory, operate the cash register and provide coffee service.

• CDM Services seeks volunteers to “adopt a grandparent” and visit with an isolated senior. ElderFriends provides companionship, outreach and advocacy while helping seniors remain independent in their homes as long as possible.

Clark College Mature Learning seeks volunteer office assistants to support students with computers, organize course materials, make reminder calls, and assist with special events and off-campus excursions.

Oregon & Southwest Washington Blood Program seeks volunteers to make reminder calls, work in community outreach, monitor donors after they donate blood, and register blood donors.

Share is looking for help with meal preparation and serving meals in shelters and in the Hot Meals Program. Individuals and groups are welcome.

VA Medical Center seeks activity assistants, guest shuttle drivers and patient visitors.

Washington State University Clark County Extension is looking for volunteer watershed stewards. After training, stewards work on projects like public outreach and education, stream restoration, water-quality monitoring and community workshops.
