The Clark County council on Tuesday approved two contracts for pet spay and neuter assistance programs.
Clark County will give $5,000 to 2nd Chance Companions and $10,000 to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington for the programs, according to the meeting agenda. Both organizations will provide low-cost pet alterations to pet owners who need the financial assistance.
This is the 16th year of the program, according to the agenda.
