Battle Ground schools announce honorees for annual Student Art Show

Battle Ground — More than 50 Battle Ground students from preschool and kindergarten through high school were honored during a school board meeting on May 11 for their submissions to the 56th annual Student Art Show. Best of Show went to Nadesda Gushtyuk, a Prairie High School 12th-grader, Pleasant Valley Middle School eighth-grader Blake Davison and Amelia Nelson, who’s in third grade at Captain Strong Primary. The Grand Prize Winner was Mackenzie Alamillo, a Battle Ground High School 12th-grader. River HomeLink ninth-grader Kristen Bivens was given the Superintendent’s Award.
