A new fitness studio is celebrating its grand opening with free classes for the community.

StarCycle, an indoor cycling studio that uses music and choreography, is opening its first franchise and third studio location in the Portland metro area later this month. The new studio is at 3215 S.E. 192nd Ave., Suite 100, in east Vancouver.

StarCycle Vancouver is offering free community rides Wednesday through Saturday. The classes will be held daily at 6, 9 and 10 a.m., as well as 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Free child care is available for all classes except the 6 a.m. rides.

All class schedules and details are listed on the StarCycle website, www.starcycleride.com. Advanced ride and child care registration is recommended.

The official opening of StarCycle Vancouver is May 24. Packages start at $30.
