Jason Lee Middle School will observe its 50th anniversary from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, in the school commons, 8500 N.W. Ninth Ave. The school opened Sept. 7, 1965.
Community members and current and former Jason Lee students and staff are invited to the free event. With a theme of “Finding Your Greatness,” the event includes student musical performances, building tours, an art walk and historical displays.
