Clark County — The Slo Pokes car club has been a fixture in Vancouver for decades.

On Thursday, gearheads all over the country will have a chance to learn about the group that started in 1952. The Slo Pokes will be featured on Great American Country’s newest show, “Made From America.”

The show follows retro T-shirt designer Gabe Johnson as he travels around the country creating shirts for various small businesses and organizations. Johnson is the owner of Seattle-based T-shirt company Horses Cut Shop.

Once the design is created, the shirt will be on sale on the company’s website, with a portion of proceeds going back to the business or organization.

The episode featuring the Slo Pokes airs Thursday at 9 p.m. Comcast subscribers can see it on Channel 484. Designs from the show can be seen at www.horsescutshop.com.
