Camas — Camas is welcoming a new local seafood merchant this weekend to its growing downtown business scene. The new B&B Fish Market has its grand opening from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.

The market, in a little white house at 536 N.E. Fifth Ave., carries a variety of seasonal fish, including steelhead, tuna, crab, rockfish and smoked fish. After today, it’ll be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday each week.

About a block north of City Hall, the market will anchor a quiet corner of downtown just off of Fourth Avenue. As Camas grows, city leaders envision more businesses taking root near the fish market along Fifth Avenue.
