A woman accused of causing an April 19 crash that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital entered not guilty pleas to vehicular assault and resisting arrest.

Olga V. Kolesnik, 25, of Vancouver was arraigned in Clark County Superior Court on Tuesday. She is suspected of crashing into a car and two motorcyclists near East Mill Plain Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue. One rider was sent to a hospital with a broken femur.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Superior Court, Kolesnik allegedly provided police with a preliminary breath test result of 0.282 percent. The state’s legal limit to drive is a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or less. She was already on probation for DUI at the time of the crash.

Her trial is scheduled to begin Aug. 3. She remains out of custody on bail.

Police responded to the crash shortly after 8:30 p.m. April 19. Three witnesses said they saw a white BMW, driven by Kolesnik, traveling at high speed east on Mill Plain Boulevard. The car took a sharp turn and skidded sideways at Lincoln Avenue, striking another BMW and two motorcycles, court records said.
